Today we woke up and had breakfast I had mango and pancakes with condensed milk on top (three of them😏🤫). I also had pineapple, passionfruit, banana and an egg. I love breakfast especially when it’s free 😎

After brekkie we went in a tuk-tuk. A tuk- tuk is a  taxi with holes where the window should be and bars where rest of the car should be. I like them because the wind blows into your face. We went to the start of Nam Xay which is a mahoosive mountain (it could’ve been a hill (I don’t know (I have done brackets inside brackets inside brackets🤪))). The mountains in Laos are called Karst mountains, they are made of limestone and look like someone is living under the ground and has just pushed them straight up.

We had to climb up because it was so muddy and slippery that we couldn’t walk up. We held on to bamboo railings and trees that were sprouting in the middle of the path to help us up. There were butterflies everywhere and they felt tame because some of the small ones landed on us and we could go close to the big ones without them flying away.  Eventually we got to the top and the view was spectacular. I felt like a giant and I could watch over the whole earth.

On the way back it was extremely slippery so we slid down on our butts most of the way. I looked like I had explosive diarrhoea by the end.
