Sunday 10th August started out as a pretty normal day – waking up in our apartment and ordering some food for breakfast (which wasn’t great unfortunately). Before packing our bags and moving on to the next place. After we arrived we were surprised to find out it was hotel and not an apartment, a significant improvement from the previous accommodation. Although that was not going to be the most surprising event that happened that day! The hotel staff carried our bags in for us as mum checked in and once that was sorted we were allowed to go up to the rooftop pool while we aired for our room to be ready.

After leaving the lift on the 21st floor we walked up a short flight of stair to reach pool where nanna Lynne, pops and uncle Jack were waiting for us! We were all very happy to see our family after over two months of missing them. We  immediately caught up and we all enjoyed having more people to talk to instead of being stuck with the same bunch for ages.

After quite a while waiting for our room to become available we unpacked before heading out to go into the Petronas Towers. We had tickets to walk the sky bridge which links the towers before going to the top floor. There we had a spectacular view over all of KL and the Merdeka 118, the second tallest building in the world standing at 679 meters tall. It was a brilliant experience.
