I'm currently travelling through SE Asia but still working, so please message if you need anything. My kids are writing a blog while we're away for friends and family - link below!

    Kuala Lumpur and Ipoh

From Thailand we flew into Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia where we stayed for two nights. We arrived late in the afternoon on the first day so there wasn’t time to go out much and my siblings were ill too. We ordered takeaway and I had a daal fry which was tasty but spicy so I didn’t manage much 🥵We stayed in an apartment and from the window we had a really cool view of the city, which looked really because of all the lights.

On our second day me and my mum went out to see the Petronas towers which are the world’s tallest twin towers. At the bottom of the towers there is a shopping centre where we went to get some new flip flops because mine broke but as there was an M&S there I just had to have a croissant with jam 😋We struggled to get flip flops though because all the shoe sizes are really small! However, we found there was a Decathlon nearby so that came to the rescue.

On Friday we got a train up to Ipoh which took 2 hours. In Ipoh there is lots of famous street art so on Saturday we walked around to see some of it. It was cool seeing all the different styles but it was hot walking around. On Sunday we went to the Lost World of Tambun which was a water park with an animal area and a few rides. It was awesome 🤩 My favourite parts were the animals especially the hippos, the crocodiles because we got to see them being fed, and the bear cats because they were cute and they smelt like buttered popcorn! Going on rides was fun too because I’ve never been to a theme park before. I’d definitely recommend going there.
