    Snorkelling

In Koh Samui (Koh is the Thai word for island) we went on a really cool snorkelling trip where we saw tones of colourful fish! To get to the good snorkelling points we had to go on a boat which I did not enjoy as it was really bumpy and we got sprayed with sea foam. While we were on the boat it started to rain so we were worried that the snorkelling conditions would be bad and we wouldn’t be able to see much but luckily by the time we arrived the rain had passed and the weather was amazing.

We went to Koh Tao and stoped at two snorkelling points before we went to lunch. We saw loads of really cool colourful fish like parrot fish and giant clams but my favourites were these little colourful anemones which looked really funny. For lunch I had noodles with spring rolls which were really tasty. Just outside The lunch hall there was massive schools of these mini fish and there were so many you couldn’t see any thing else it was really cool.

The last thing we did was we visited an island called Koh Nang Yuan which had a thin stretch of sand which sea on either side, on side was choppy while the other side was calm. We went on the calm side where there where more rocks for snorkelling- I didn’t realise that there could be so many fish at one beach! When we went deeper out in the sea there was a gully that we swam through with fish on either side, it was awesome 🤩
